Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Over all very satisfied - works great. Looks good.

Mary in Nor Cal 3/1/2026

I LOVE our new GE induction range. I have to admit, I was pretty uncertain about how I would feel about the change. The thing that bothered me the most was that my favorite skillet would no longer work well on the induction range. My husband purchased a beautiful cast iron skillet that I now love just as much. The range itself really does heat instantly. It can boil tap water in about a minute -- crazy! It is as easy to control as a gas range. The only down side of the range is on one side there are two burners that can be tethered together and operated together for a large pan - think rectangular pancake skillet. This feature is dumb because while the range top has markings indicating there would be even heating on the entire side of the range, including between the burners, that does not happen and you just have two separate hot spots on one large pan. I don't know why they did this. As to the oven, it is spacious -- you could definitely do a turkey. One of the racks pulls out of the oven, which is great. This means when you are doing something heavy or something you need to baste frequently, you don't have to lift it out of the oven -- you just pull out the rack. I like all of the features including the air frier. I should note that this is difficult to initially set up because the air frier will only work via an app on your phone. This means you need to set it up with wifi and that was pretty complicated. Once done, it's done forever (I hope!). The oven does not heat instantly like the range or like a gas range, but it also does not take as long as our old range. I feel like it takes about 12 - 13 minutes to heat up to 450, for example. The heat is even. I haven't used the self cleaning feature, but am glad it exists. I am also pleased with the storage drawer under the oven. It is large and easy to pull out.

DANGEROUS CONTROLS1

chanceu 2/8/2026

I really want to love this range and I do really like it other than the controls are dangerous. I have owned this range for about a year and a half and have tried to burn the house down with it more than once. At first, we laughed at me for being an overweight oaf and turning on or adjusting burners with my belly but it stopped being funny when others started doing it and damage started being done to non-cookware items sitting on the stovetop. Being a professional techie, I was excited about the touch controls and the app integration then I found out how few things could be done with the app and how dangerous the touch controls are. I know there™€™s a lock, but that™€™s all or nothing so while cooking, a misplaced hand or even a cookware lid and whoops, an unexpected burner is on. We have found a couple things that can be used as covers to stop the controls from accidentally activating but I am honestly at the point where I™€™m ready to eat the cost of this and find something new.

Extremely Disappointed with GE Cafà Range

LOPrincess 1/16/2026

I'm posting feedback here because GE Cafe does not allow feedback. This is my first GE appliance purchase, a $5,000 GE Cafà double oven induction range (model CCHS950P2MS1), which I was told was a high-end, premium product. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but premium. Within the first week of ownership, one of the burners failed and required a service call to replace the induction cooktop. Now, just three months later, the induction cooktop has failed again™€"this time with an exploding noise, tripping my home™€™s breakers and rendering the entire cooktop completely inoperable. I have now been without a functioning range for six days, while receiving the runaround from GE™€™s customer service center. Repeated calls resulted only in being told that a manager was unavailable and would call me back™€"something that did not happen until day five. When GE finally responded, I was told they would not replace the unit, even after two major failures within three months, and would only authorize another repair. The GE-licensed technician confirmed the cooktop was dead but did not even inspect internal components for damage. At this point, it is clear this unit is defective and unsafe. I really do not want further repairs attempted™€"especially since servicing requires pulling the range across hardwood floors, as well as already having resulted in damage to my granite countertop. This experience has been unacceptable from both a product quality and customer service standpoint. I will never purchase another GE appliance and strongly caution others considering GE Cafà products.

Amazing Stove

Cooking in Seattle 12/28/2025

Love Love my new oven. Pros: water boils so fast, everything comes out perfect, easy to keep clean. Not sure what all the gripes were with the touch controls I have splattered stuff on them without temp changing and I have made it a habit to keep controls locked when not using. Love the camera and art . Only complaint is the special burner for those smart pans burns an imprint of my pan on it and is the loudest burner and only other con was it did an update while using my oven and shut everything down other than that love it

Very Very Nice Range

K T C 10/12/2025

We just got our range but unless something goes wrong we™€™re gonna love our range. The burners are providing even predictable heat. We used the precision cooking for the first time this morning. Worked well. Didn™€™t disappoint at all. Burners heat quickly. The oven although only used once so far performed the best of any oven we have used. Seemed to be accurate in regards to the temperature and heated evenly baking our gluten free cake. Which came out great. Cleaning the stovetop has been fairly easy with the proper cleaner. The controls we clean using dedicated microfiber cloths used just for our range and clean up the control nicely.

Do not buy this oven! $4,900 lost in two years!

boo81 8/27/2025

Do not buy this oven! We bought it 2.5 years ago for $4,900. In the last few months, the oven started to reboot itself at random times and then last week the front left burner would no longer turn on. We had a GE tech come onsite this week and we were told the COIL PRECISION COOKING (WB30X38507) & INDUCTION CONTROL ASSSEMBLY (WB27X46068) would need to be replaced. The total cost with parts and labor is $1,300!!! This is insane for two year old range. Instead of fixing it, we are going to replace the range with a KitchenAid. This range was a waste of almost $5,000. :(

Wish WiFi wasn™€™t needed to access control lock

Leah_C 7/25/2025

Love this range. Easy to use and clean, no issues. Love the induction. Minus one star because the lock for the controls is hidden behind the prompt to connect to Wi-Fi, so if you don™€™t want your device connected to Wi-Fi, you can™€™t lock the controls. The lock is a safety feature, it should not be blocked by a Wi-Fi connection prompt.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE!!

AMRN 6/15/2025

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE MAKING A PURCHASE!!! AVOID BUYING!!! We bought this range on 02/05/2022. We were ready to invest over $3000 in a range that promised the best cooking capabilities. The GE Profile™ 30" Smart Slide-In Front-Control Induction appeared to be that ideal choice. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We have had to service the range at least six times. The most recent service calls were due to the range not heating our Al Clad and other induction pots evenly, which I have been using since I got the range. They repaired the first burner, and everything seemed fine, but then we encountered a problem with the second burner. That burner was replaced, yet it still only heats the water in the center of the pot, covering about 1/3 of the pot's diameter. I contacted GE, and they informed me that my case would be forwarded to Product Quality Engineers for evaluation. In April 2025, I received this response: "Our Product Quality Engineers have reviewed the videos and found nothing abnormal. The Al-Clad pans have designs on the bottom, which can affect their performance. The All Clad A1 cookware will only heat the area that is magnetic on the bottom, which is much smaller than the top diameter of the pan." I let GE know that this issue was occurring with both Al-Clad and other induction pots. I did not receive any further solutions, just the response, "I'm sorry it is not the answer you were hoping for." I would like to acknowledge that the Customer Care representative was as helpful as possible.

Super Technology, Induction Oven is Fantastic

KJJRuxshire 5/12/2025

I really like the induction top and the quality of the oven. The stove top is very efficient. I like the technology, too. Installation was very smooth, the guys were professional. The oven capacity is good, so far, and I like the slide shelf that came with the stove. Great option. I learned after purchase that I am eligible for an educator discount (per the GE Website) and am hoping that the store where I purchased the oven will expedite this, as it is a substantial amount of money.

Induction Is the Way to Go!

Retiree04 4/19/2025

Induction Is fabulous, as responsive as gas. Keeps pan temp steady. Overcooking is a thing of the past. Four different size burners to accommodate any size pot. Super easy to keep cooktop clean. The controls are so easy to use. I love how sleek and clean the range looks with the controls on the front top edge facing up, rather than facing front. The changing background of the control panel is a nice touch. I used the air fryer mode once and was not impressed. I am wondering if the air fryer download worked. I will check the online manual. Love the large oven and the roll out rack is great.

Generally great with one HUGE design flaw

inska 4/18/2025

Bought this model in January and *was* surprisingly happy with it because I originally thought I wanted an induction range with knobs instead of a keypad. The keypad is very easy to manage and well laid out with one GLARING design flaw that is frustrating. At the bottom of each burner controller is a "precision cooking" button. It's extremely easy to brush up against this button accidentally. When (not if) you do, you get an error message ("Feature needs Wi-Fi go to Settings to connect"). You cannot clear this error message on the range, it must be cleared via the app. GE tech support said the "Clear" button should eliminate the error but at least on my model, it does not. I 1000% refuse to download an app to delete an error message that I'm not even intentionally triggering. In previous models there is a feature to disable Wi-Fi but in this model, when you select the Wi-Fi setting options, there is no option to disable. The only other option I was provided was to flip the breaker in the house to essentially restart the range. Which means I would have to reset every clock tied to that breaker every time we accidentally hover near the "Precision Cooking" button and trigger the error. I guess my only solace is that there are many other folks who have encountered this design flaw and agree that being required to have an app to clear this message is, ummmm, not ideal. Also interesting that to submit this review, I have to upload a photo. Seriously GE?

Horrible!

StoveyJo 12/12/2024

Do NOT buy! I glad I purchased the 3 year warranty. This stove looks amazing but breaks constantly. I've had to have it serviced 2 in less than 8 months and the stove isn't even a year old. The glass covering the controls suddenly cracked and split sending shards of glass everywhere. And now the oven is heating itself without the controls on and the only way to get the oven to stop heating up is to unplug the unit. I've had it with this thing.

Slow to heat up

Woodnymph 11/13/2024

Overall I like the range. The back has a low, modern look. The digital interface is cool. But....it is low to heat. I have a cheap one burner induction hot plate that you plug into a wall outlet that heats up faster. And I thought the burner controls were going to be a little more refined and that the slide function would be smoother. Setting up the oven was a huge hassle, it would not find it. I am pretty tech savvy and I still had to fight with it. I also don't understand why every device on this group has a different setup style. I am bummed. I really wanted to love this. I used to have a glass to electric range that also heated up a lot faster. This doesn't feel like the wave of the future.

Want to love it, too many faults.

nick8x 10/20/2024

So I won't go into the things this range can do. GE does a good job listing that. I'll tell you what it can't do well as there is where my frustration lies. 1. The temp probe burner has died on me. It faulted numerous times and usually required a reboot of the oven (yeah it's basically a computer) and now it's dead. I can see scorch marks on the wire leads where it melted them internally... and I cannot locate parts to replace them. It's almost like this model doesn't exist. For the $4200 I paid... I expected more than three years use before it started burning itself up. 2. The touchscreen is useless if you get any moisture on it while cooking. You need to wipe it off a lot... and that means it likely registers a touch and changes a setting. Boiling water can throw droplets out, hit the touchscreen and turn itself down so it's no longer boiling. I can't rolling boil on the front burners without risk of it turning itself off due to a splash. 3. The settings don't always save. I can't for example set a time for the LCD to sleep at night because it keeps forgetting and reverting to OFF. 4. I've had weird artifacts on the LCD screen at times, or it locks up and stops responding... which is scary when cooking and you can't turn off a burner or the oven. 5. I blame where I bought it selling me a lemon, but the racks in the oven fall a lot. It's almost like the walls inside aren't plumb/square and bowed out. I bought it new, but think I got sold a "fell off the truck" model. Too many parts that feel out of square or ill fitting. Some cracks in the plastic on the INSIDE! FWIW the things that do work ok work well. It's a powerful cooktop. It heats things fast. I like the temp probe burner (the one that died) for holding an exact temp when cooking. I like the Hestan Cue feature. I don't really use the built in cooking guides. I bought this model over the cheaper one because of the temp probe burner in the front left. That died... which sucks because it's the one killer feature this range had.

Fragile glass control panel edge broke!

ckmccollim 7/26/2024

We ordered GE stove from Best Buy Online Feb 20, 2023 and were able to pick it up in the store Mar 22, 2023. (We ordered it from Best Buy because we thought they would handle it carefully in shipping because they handle sensitive electronic items like TV all the time.) We had it shipped to the store and then picked it up and installed it ourselves so we knew it would not be dropped or damaged while being installed. GE Profile - Electric Induction Range (Model: PHS93XYP6FS) This range had all the features we were looking for and we liked the design. When we were setting up the stove, the fancy rolling slide out oven rack ™€œRange Oven Rack Slide Assembly™€ (part # WB48X20881 @ $383.57) would not go in the stove correctly. This was maddening! I finally found a YouTube video that showed exactly how it is to install and realized the "Range Oven Rack Slide Assembly" that we had received with our stove was not correct--it was the wrong one! I called customer service and they said they would send me out the correct one. We later called back after we had waited awhile and found it was backordered until May 26, 2023. She said to make sure we got one, she would put in an order for another one. Over the months we did receive two, but it was most frustrating to have been given the wrong one to start with and then having to wait months to get the correct one. After having used the stove for a couple of weeks, the induction stove top stop working. This is an induction stove top and it would try to come on, and then it would shut off. The GE tech that came out was very good and diagnosed the problem with the (I believe) the master induction control module. It took two weeks or so to get the part shipped to our house and then for the technician to come back. (He was in the middle of moving from one company vehicle to another.) He came back out, tore the entire stove top apart and put the new module in. And it has worked well ever since. We had to order a portable induction stove from Amazon to use during this time (duxtop Portable Induction Cooktop Burner @ $116.00) On Saturday, July 13, 2024 my wife was baking potatoes in the oven and frying bacon in a pan on the stove top. She had a cutting board on one side of the stovetop that was not being used. As she was cutting raw bacon and putting it into the pan, the back of the knife hit the front edge of the glass ™€œstainless control panel with wifi™€ and caused a piece of the glass control panel to fracture off and go onto the stove top! When this happened she asked me to look at the stove to try to figure out what had happened because she was not using the knife very forcefully. That is when I saw the nick on the glass control panel. Also during this, the stove was trying to do a software update and kind of locked up. We were afraid the damaged glass control panel may be causing this. I went outside and power cycled the electric breaker to the stove and it came back on and has worked correctly since. On Monday I called GE customer support and asked for help. They said it was out of warranty and a service call would be $114.95 plus parts and labor. The control panel can only be ordered as a complete unit. STAINLESS CONTROL PANEL W/ WIFI (part # WB27X45013) @ $948.05!!! I asked because of the newness of our stove and the other troubles we have had if they could do a courtesy repair or any kind of help. The customer support lady said they may be able to give a 20% discount on the part, but she would have to check with her supervisor first. After turning off the power to the stove, I was able to take the control panel off and used a diamond file to carefully round down the sharp edge on the glass edge (it was about 3™€ long) so no one would cut themselves on it. I can now see and feel with my fingernail many little cracks in the glass in this area. In a few days it will be two weeks since this happened. The stove is currently working fine, but for how long? Will the cracked glass control panel get worse and affect the use? Over all we really enjoy the stove and its features. It seems maybe they should have designed a stainless steel piece of trim that could protect this fragile edge.

Huge design flaw, so close to being the new goat

Madrecooks 7/6/2024

Huge design flaw. Wish someone would have tried to cook on multiple burners at once to see that you can't fit them. And the induction is so tempremental, trying to find 2 exact pots or pans is a nightmare. I'm actually taking a loss and replacing this with a dual fuel model. I hope GE can do something to help me out. Maybe donate this one to a food kitchen. If that was fixed, this product would be a 10/10. Although I miss being able to lift a pan and saute things, this was super easy to cook, clean, and maintain. If only you could use more than 2 burners at a time.

great but...

Great stove, great oven. Bad that it has to connect to the Internet all the time to make the UI work well. I don't want my appliances connecting to the Internet just so I can lock the controls.

Damaged

Bac55 5/14/2024

I purchased a GE cafe range in January from Warner™€™s Stellian. After one use, heating a dinner at 350 degrees, the bottom enamel of the inside of the oven showed corrosion. When lightly wiping the area a fine crystal type residue appeared on the cloth. I am concerned about toxins emitting from this damage. Warner™€™s Stellian and GE at first accused me of using foul. After two service representatives, one from Warner™€™s Stellian, one from GE, I was finally believed that the damage was not of my doing. Both companies will not replace the oven. After paying approximately $3000 for the range, GE™€™s solution is for me to purchase another oven for approximately $2000. The warranty is still in effect and I purchased an additional 5 year warranty. I am beyond frustrated and saddened by the communication, treatment and solution to this issue. I am still in the process of hoping to resolve this issue.

Average

Overall, I like the product. I had a different brand at another home and do thinkI preferred that one as it was without any crevices and easier to clean. I do not like the controls, the electronic, they are a bit picky and not as precise at the other induction range I had. I miss the extended lips on the sides of the range to prevent food going between the oven and counter. I also cannot use a small 0.5qt pan on the smallest unit as it does not register for the induction to work. ( melt butter or small amount of sauce) VERY disappointing. Again, not an issue with the other brand I had. The same problem exists if you want to connect the 2 burners for a larger griddle or oblong pan. Nope, unless it covers over 80% of the burners, you cannot use that option. So, it is worthless for me. I bought this one because it had better ratings. The reviews did not talk about the burner size restrictions of pans in order for the unit to work. I disagree with the ratings in my opinion. Would I buy it again, no.

DO NOT BUY!! Burn Quit Working After 18 Months

Home8731 4/19/2024

DO NOT BUY!!!! The front burner stopped working 18 months in. The local QE repair place quote a min of $1000 to fix it IF it can be fixed. Not a great feeling buying more expensive induction stove to get a lemon after only 18 month. DO NOT BUY

Great for Bakers

mgbaking 1/27/2024

Very pleased with this induction stovetop. Water takes a very long time to boil though. The oven works great as well but it might be running hot. I purchased this for making bread and I™€™m very happy with the proofing mode and it gets sourdough loaves nice and crispy. Definitely would recommend this for anyone who is into baking bread. Still learning how to use this so I might update it to a 5 star review after playing with it more.

Love all of the bells and whistles

The gourmet and baker 11/20/2023

The bells and whistles are what I came for: induction, air fry, and the sous vide sold me. It™€™s sleek, easy to clean, and bakes my Christmas cookies to perfection. I have only had this for a few days - we needed the GEEK squad to help us set it up - I have very little patience with computers: I can™€™t wait for my Smart Pot and sous vide apparatus. Let™€™s see how she does my pies 😺😻🥰™¤ï¸ðŸ§š™€™™€ï¸

We are thoroughly enjoying our new range. The cooktop heats so much faster than our gas one did and cooks very evenly. Also loving the convection baking. And, the cooktop is so easy to keep clean!

Renewable Energy friendly

solar powered22 10/23/2023

This stove was just delivered to our home today. Therefore I cannot comment on its performance until I have had a reasonable amount of time to use it. It was purchased after careful consideration and research (Consumer Report and Ask this Old House magazine). It replaces a gas GE Cafe double oven which we have had for nearly 10 years. Our reasons were based on how electric stoves are safer and better for the enviornment. It is also a benefit as we had solar panels installed on our roof in 2022 which will now provide the power source at a more economical price.

Wife loves it, but I am the chef...

19jet54 10/1/2023

Already had a GE induction cooktop, but the precision feature & 5 burner induction top was a feature I wanted. The oven is a multi feature heaven to bake, broil, air fry or warm. We use it alot. Very intuitive controls do not require a manual. I do wish it came withe the sous vide Bluetooth probe for precision cooking on the other burners too. Hard to find. I had the original design, GE purchased with this tech. Donated it to charity when we moved. Could have used it. I love it & would recommend it to anyone. Very nice stove!

Loriba 9/30/2023

Such a great range! I™€™ve had a gas range forever, but I™€™m now in love with induction. It™€™s much more responsive to an adjustment in temperature. Cooks so evenly. Haven™€™t tried the fancy ™€œchef connect™€ feature, but I™€™m looking forward to many adventures in cooking with this range. GE is simply the best!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

DKidd 9/28/2023

DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE!?! My old range had to be replaced due to being deemed unrepairable. And now the new range only having it for 18 months has broken down again!?! Waited for 3+weeks for service by King & State and guess what the repair guy didn't show up today. I would rate this with a 0 (zero) if I could. So disappointed with GE!?!

Nice range - documentation frustrating

I00017 8/18/2023

Nice range - I am enjoying all of the features so far. Although not as sleek as I prefer I choose it over the others for serviceability. Camera operation is spotty and in general operating instructions are difficult to find, so poorlywritten as to render them useless, or nonexistent. The various videos for operating specific features are generally useless and appear to be put together to tout the feature instead of detailing how to operate the feature

Update removed self-clean.

MikeE78 7/31/2023

My oven, new in 2021, came with self-cleaning function which we used 3 times. went to self-clean last month and that option is now gone. Contacted GE and cannot get anyone to explain why the self-clean disappeared after the last software update. Very disappointed with GE at this time. I had this same model at our home in Calif and purchased again for our new home in Oregon. Self-clean worked in both ovens until removed by GE. i do not recommend this product.
